Hawk’s “Quick, I gotta cook a friggin steak” Steak

Steak
salt
pepper
fresh garlic
dried cayenne pepper
whte vinegar or red wine vinegar
olive oil

Completely smash the hell out of two cloves of peeled garlic. Season the steak with salt and pepper, then really rub in the minced garlic on both sides. Heat a heavy fry pan (cast iron is best but stainless steel will work too, just avoid non-stick for super high temperatures) over high heat until it’s smokin’ hot. Rub a bit of olive oil on each side of the steak and drop it in the hot pan. Sear until it’s golden and good lookin’. Meanwhile, mix a couple tablespoons of vinegar with a few dashes of cayenne pepper powder. Once you flip your steak, brush the cooked side with the spicey vinegar (or just sprinkle a bit on from the bowl, or snort it up a nostril and blow it onto the steak, that’ll work just as good). Once the other side is done, flip and brush with more vinegar and cook just another minute. Remove to a plate and let stand for five minutes before serving. I like it rare to medium rare.

Be sure to have some veg and potato or other sides ready to go when your steak is done.
