The CBC Burger!

CBC Saint John’s Information Morning is running a contest this week to come up with a new “CBC” burger that will hit the menu at the brand new Relish Gourmet Burger restaurant in Saint John.   The deadline for the contest is Friday but here’s what I came up with today.

As the rules stipulate, the burger has to have three ingredients that begin with C, B and C.  Cheddar or Colby cheese is an obvious winner on a good burger and I thought that might go well with barbecue sauce and cole slaw, which are already great friends with things like pulled pork.  As it turns out, this CBC combination was great in my opinion, but we’ll see what the judges have to say.

Once the winner is chosen and hits the Relish menu, one dollar from the sale of each burger will go towards CBC’s annual Harbour Lights campaign, which supports food banks in Southern New Brunswick.  A great cause so put your thinking caps on and make a burger!  Email your entry to infoamsj@cbc.ca or call it in to 1-800-632-7743.
